Karul Ghat, Gaganbawda | Pune to Malvan trip Day 3

The video showcase Gaganbawda ghat (Karul ghat) of Maharashtra which is just 55kms away from Kolhapur and is a prominent ghat of Sahyadri mountain range in India. The ghat is the gateway to the Sindhudurg district which comprises of the most beautiful beaches of Maharashtra. We were traveling from Malvan in Sindhudurg to Pune after having an awesome time there. This ghat also connected the two most prominent districts in Maharashtra i.e. Kolhapur and Sindhudurg. The time was April and the summer was at its peak. Till the time you're in the ghat section, you'll experience heat and humidity due to low lying areas and the presence of Arabian sea a few miles away. Indian Railways have already been in talks with the government and a rail line has also been proposed on this route which will connect Kolhapur to Vaibhavwadi tehsil in Sindhudurg district.
